We’re looking for a Director of Finance to join our investment team
As a Director of Finance, you will be part of lool’s operations team, participate in investment and fund raising processes, and lead critical financial and portfolio-related processes.
We are a small, fast and ambitious team and you will have a meaningful role in our team.
Responsibilities
- Maintain funds’ investments database
- Maintain funds’ financial metrics and reporting
- Financial portfolio management
- Analyze investment activities, structure and follow-on allocations and strategy
- Portfolio Governance
- Participate in DD of potential investment candidates
- Drive the portfolio investment closing process from Term-sheet to finalized financing
- Ongoing Monitoring of legal engagements and investment documents
- Support fund fundraising process
- Drive the processes of fund formation
- Drive the process of capital calls, capital distribution and investor financial/metrics communication
- Manage relationships and processes with third-party providers
Qualifications
- Strong analytic ability (including using Excel/Google Sheets proficiently) – experience in creating and evaluating financial models, cap tables, waterfalls is an advantage
- Degree in Economics is an advantage
- Proficient English in a business context, both spoken and written (English- Mother tongue level)- a must
- Passion for innovation
- Previous experience at a VC firm and/or tech startup would be an advantage
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable with G-Suite tools
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced, small team environment
